Een rit van zo&#8217;n vijf uur over zand en grafel. Het landschap wisselt continue. Dorre vlaktes, ravijnen, bergen en uitgesleten heuvels, net molshopen.<br \/>\nBij zee komen we in de mist terecht. Swakopmund staat bekend om zijn mist. De temperatuur is er meestal niet hoger dan 15 graden.<br \/>\nOok nu is het er koud en mistig.<br \/>\nHet stadje zelf stelt niets voor. Van oorsprong wonen hier veel Duitsers. Het Pebblestone House, waar we overnachten valt wat tegen na onze zeer goede ervaring in Kaapstad. De kamer is koud en het warme douchewater snel op. &#8216;s Avonds uit eten in restaurant Deutsches Haus.
